POLICIES & ETIQUETTE

Our goal is for you to leave The Root Spa feeling fully relaxed & pampered. We ask that you respect the wellbeing of those around you & help us to maintain a quiet & peaceful atmosphere. We work to ensure that all services begin at your allotted time. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to your first service to allow ample time for check-in & ensure your treatment ends on time so the next guest is not delayed.

COVID-19 Policy
We would like you to relax during your visit and immerse yourself into The Root Spa experience. For this reason, we have taken extra measures to safeguard you prior to your arrival during this time. We kindly ask the following for the safety of you, our clients and employees:

If you or a member of your household has developed any of the following symptoms; Cough, Fever, Breathlessness, Sore Throat &/ or Headaches; within within the last 7 days, please contact The Root Spa no later than 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time or facility use. The Root Spa will obtain further information, which may result in a reschedule or cancellation. To ensure no cancellation fee is charged to your account, please ensure you contact The Root Spa no later than 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time or facility use.

If you or any member of your household has recovered from COVID-19 within the last 14 days, The Root Spa requires you to contact us no later than 24 hours prior to your appointment time to ensure no cancellation fee is charged to your account.

Cancellation Policy
Any cancellations with less than 24 hours of notice are subject to a cancelation fee amounting to 50% of the scheduled service value.

No Show Policy
Clients who miss their appointments without giving any prior notification will be charged in full for the scheduled service.

Gratuities
Gratuities are not included in the price of our spa services. Gratuity is left to the discretion of our guests.

Spa Service Dress
Your comfort is our number one priority. If you are comfortable, some services are best received undressed. However, undergarments are optional during your service.

Client In-Take Forms
All clients prior to their service are to fill out a Client In-Take Form. The required forms for your service will be sent via email &/or text upon booking your service. If you do not have the ability to receive or fill out the required forms prior to your service, our reception team will assist you in completing upon arrival. Please make note of any medical issues or history you may have including high blood pressure, pregnancy, injuries, allergies or any other significant medical conditions when booking your treatments, & please inform us of any medications you may be taking.

Payment
We accept cash, American Express, Visa & Mastercard. Iowa sales tax will be charged where applicable.
